This band is very cult sounding indeed. I hear Slayer, I hear Manowar, I hear early thrashy Manilla Road, I hear technical jazzy riffs and odd time changes. This band is very weird all round. If you like epic thrashy metal with quirks galore then this album will intrigue. The song The Passing of Azazel sums it all up perfectly as you get all those elements I described above. That technical riff break around the 2 minute mark is just plain awesome. The high vocals are completely diabolically bad but who cares. On their own music page you can hear the song Battlefield which sounds like a mix of Slayer/Iced Earth/Manowar type thrashy song but with quirkiness. Check out the brilliant Maiden gallop at the end of Battlefield. I can't make up my mind whether this band completely sucks or rules at the moment. I'm scratching my head at this band. I think in the end the vocals are laughably bad but the band is amazingly talented.
