i've always wondred, how does one practice while on tour? do you have practice amps on the bus? or do you just make do with the few minutes before the show?

Well you cna practice by yourself in the van/bus/moonbuggy, but I'm sure that you get to practice during soundcheck for a brief period.

nah theres no room in a bus to practice, well, our size bus anyway, i reckon in a mega fancy posh tour bus there would be room to do so, but you're constantly moving it would be hard to. best you can manage is in the venue during the day of the gig, or just the gigs themselves are practice...

I usually just warm up an hour-thirty minutes before show time backstage. no room on bus unless its a fancy one.

I've found if I do more than that, i've wasted all my energy, so I don't overdo it. I used to get nervous and feel like i had to warm up for hours, then when I'd get on stage, i'd play like stephen hawking.
