Arrived in a package of promos Sir Keely just sent me. And to be honest, I knew NOTHING about this band. DEMONOID- Riders Of The Apocalypse.

Lame band name, but features three guys from Therion and the old drummer from Soilwork. I HAVE WET MY PANTS.

This is one of the best Nuclear Blast releases in 10 years.

What I've heard of it is decent, better than most throwback side projects and not as one-dimensional, 14th Century Plague and the epic closer Death are damned good...

That's what struck me--how hungry this sounds. Pretty rare for a group of vets, especially a group making their bread playing different stuff.
