one room for tracking, workflows!

Im interested in learning how most of you who only have one room track, just some ideas of how to efficiently make use of my one room, thanks.

Invest in a desk on rollers, that way when the band is in you can move your desk back away and give more room for the band, but then when they leave you can move it back to ideal mix position for your room. Other than that get some good isolation headphones to save your ears from loud drum and guitar days.
