OOhhyeah, Podxt and MNEMIC Kick...

That kick is awesome, the snare is real weak it sounds like a tom, needs some crack to it. Guitars seem a little thin, maybe a bass line would fill it out. Cool song

May i request the patch for that clean guitar sound Mendel? :kickass:

Otherwise, cool song! i am still having problems with your guitars somehow.. when i listen to them, it sounds like they are a bit undergained and therefore the guitars sound like they are struggling at some parts... do you know what i mean?

Turn up that bass dude...

At the fast parts it sounds like the either the snare or the kick is kicking in too late... try to turn drumagog on and off every now and then to avoid that kind of small delay of hit impact... i have this sometimes as well.

Rest of it sounds cool man... good to hear from you again.

soundwise topnotch, but you're waaaay off dude !
try slowing down a bit, you're outrunning the beat -
hence no groovygroovy see ?

I have the exact same problem with my playing (I rush everything) and besides being conscious of it during tracking and just trying to lay into the beat right, try putting a delay on all your guitars about 25-50ms, with the mix at %100 (so no original signal, basically moving everything over, which you can do if you want, but it's a harder to adjust just so) and it'll probably just clean the whole thing up. Nice riffs! and nice kick drum, wanna share? :p

I've got tons of digital clipping over here! It's really bad on the intro, rice crispies all over the place. I'm actually re-checking the levels and connections on my end but other music on my speakers sounds fine. It really sounds exactly like a clipping A/D or interface/soundcard. Are you guys hearing this?

Everything is way, way, way too compressed. This type of riff-fest metal always sounds better with a ton of dynamics IMO. It opens the song up and lets it breathe. Let those drums poke out a bit more, don't limit them so hard. The drums should be the driving force of the song!

I also don't like that kick drum at all. The sample actually sounds like it has reverb on it.

Sorry to be so negative, lol!

EDIT: What's the RMS on this song, -5dB?!?! I'm on my 'net computer with no meters, but whoa.... That clipping has to be coming from the brickwall.

Pretty cool riffs, but I've gotta agree on the timing issues that's been commented. Slow down and play in time. That's way cooler than rushing stuff.
I think the guitars are ok, but way too thin.
Bass?

+1, clipping like crazy here as well on my Fireface/Yammy's.

Still seems like your overlimiting with the L2 or whatever you used for a limiter, try not to hit more than 3db of gain reduction on the L2 especially.

You're not crazy, there's definitely clipping. I'm listening on earphones and I'm getting clip clip clip clip clip mostly on the left side when the guitar is soloed. Personally I like the drum sound a lot except for the snare drum. It sounds like a ping pong ball bouncing around inside of my head  but the toms are noiceeeeeee

The mnemic kick (I think you have cut it on Wild Boys) doesn't fit at all into the mix because the sample have a lot of reverb and it's made for that mnemic song (only the intro I think). I have done some test with the mnemic kick but it's better if you use a dry sample.
You kick is also too high in the mix.
For the rest, kick ass song with some parts out of time

i liked the guitar tone, clean and distorted! the only problem is the out of time issue and the clipping... also i tihnk you should play the song slower, it will sound better , i dont mean about the out of time issue but the song would be better a bit slower. snare sounds thin and kick too click and high, toms are a bit low too!

ohhh, while posting the clean part started, nice clean tone, really!
