OOOH MY F@@@ING GOOOOD

Metal is very widespread. There's no such thing is 'that is metal', or 'that is not metal' cause it really varies. Black metal culture is very different from what we see around us everyday. Death and Thrash on the other hand are not very different from each other. Heavy metal is of the most neutral form (me), they can gel well with every tom, dick and harry. As for the core trend, I know nothing about it.

The Norwegien Black Metal way of life may seem fucked up to many, but that's just how it is. To them that's normal. When I first came across black metal it seemed pretty awkward, but as I got more and more familiar I really started respecting it.

Yes, it is fair to say that those people are unstable. We're unstable too. Science is responsible for millions of deaths each year. We develop tools of defense that can also be used as tools of offense. We have no problem is consuming carcinogenic stuff, the manufacturers have no problem advertising them. They're legal, but yet - we read 'smoking is injurious to health' on the $10 packs. Oh yeh, we're unstable. Being normal is overrated.*

Edit: Wearing your dead band mate's bones is less harmful than the stuff mentioned above.

Its just hard when you know that metal vids can't be topped since SYL - Love? took the best movie ever and turned it into a filmclip :headbang:

The saddest thing is the people that get bent out of shape after watching the video and it actually effects them emotionally.:lol:Doesn't matter what type of music or video it is.

if you don't like it you turn it off and stop watching. Fucking clowns. :yuk:

I must have missed the memo on extreme metal being highbrow. Guess some were expecting a Merchant Ivory Production.

I can understand the theatrics and stuff, I just think it would be more epic if they didn't combine the song's story with them playing. I mean, the parts where it shows them playing out in the desert and then eating the angel just put them in there in an annoying way imho. It's like an autobiography instead of a story or something.

I know, that's just how behemoth rolls...I'm just saying I liked the slaves shall serve vid a lot more because the imagery and band seemed more separate.

Anybody know what I mean?

I thought it was pretty bitchin. Didn't make any sense, but that's okay.

I'm the type of person who likes to associate visuals with music. When an album has a really sinister cover or something, I like to look at it while I listen, it adds to the vibe. This is pretty much the same effect, but stretched out into a short piece of film. And for the record, I really didn't find it shocking in the least. They definitely crossed some lines in an effort to make it shocking to conservative types, but those people should have been weeded out as soon as they realized it was "Behemoth" they were about to watch, right?

No !

Only Impaled Northern Moonforest makes TRVE BLACK METAL VIDEOS !

And here is a proof:

Anyway, didnt mind the Behemoth clip, only thing that gives me the shits is his vocals!
Still like this clip better though, no evil, no make up, just laughs!

. . .

I watched it all, twice, in the spirit of open-mindedness. I was trying to work out how I actually felt about it, without just falling to first impressions. It's pretty logical that it would affect people emotionally; it's an expression through ART; it's MEANT to affect you emotionally.

Or are you a calculator?
