What are your thoughts about the upcoming release of Queensryche's sequel to Operation Mindcrime? Is this the band's final attempt to get something really good going around its name after their last disappointing albums, or just another sell-out? Will it affect Mindcrime's originality? Does anybody else really care, or is it just me?

Personally i'm really looking forward to it. I mean the first Operation Mindcrime was superb! So if part 2 is just as good than why the hell not? I don't see how this album makes them a sellout, or how it affects the first operation mindcrimes originality. No matter that album was original you can't change that. I mean I just see this next album their making as good music, I think your looking to deeply into this.

The first OM was just amazing, I hope they are doing it right and not just throwing it together for that last effort to come back. This could be the album to help them come back if they do it right :

THIS. ALBUM. IS. FOR. MONEY.

They're just cashing in on their old fans, because their old fans have finally become smart enough to not buy whatever shit they come out with nowadays.

"So, where do we go from here? Oh, lets just make another shitty album, but market it as a sequel to one of our albums from when we were actually good, that way it will sell well."

It's a sell out because they're using the name of their most popular album for the sake of creating a "sequel" to attempt to sell to a portion of their fanbase that they've insulted and made clear that they don't give a damn about. (the metalheads)

Well, what about Abigail II?

King Diamond happened to still be kicking ass quite well, methinks. House Of God was fucking awesome, and that came out a year before Abigail II. Abigal II was pretty good as well, it could've been about anything, I don't care. :D

Abigail 2: The Revenge was fucking great. The album before that one 'House of God' showed KD getting back on track finally. I can't get into 'The Graveyward' or 'Voodoo'. The Spiders Lallabye' has some cool stuff but you can see the decline starting.

Abigail 2 is actually one of KD's most strange, crazy album's musically. Andy and Mike are fucking nuts on it. It's probably the biggest musical step they have made since 'Conspiracy'. Mike does I think the second solo in 'The Wheelchair'. One of the best guitar solo's ever.

Well atleast they aren't pulling george lucas like Dave Mustaine did with the whole special edition thing. Yeah some of the new mixes are good, but some of them, are missing something. The new star wars edits are shit, I hate for Lucas for making my childhood so wonderful and then pissing on it right afterward.

You should of put this on the ultimate metal old school forum it would've been
more interesting. Yeah I lost interest in that band after Empire. And that
cd wasn't that good.
