Got up at the venue about 6:00 and stood in line on the sidewalk. We got in a little after 6:30 and went down the stairs to the pit. Security stopped us and said we had to get a wristband to get in the pit and they only allow a certain number of people in the pit. We get to the wristband line and we were the LAST TWO people admitted to the pit. 
We hung out at the back of the pit for Baroness and High On Fire, then moved up front right in front of Martin for Opeth's set. I am not familiar with the two openers. I liked Baroness..they were jamming pretty good. They got 30 minutes. High On Fire was kinda meh.. They got 40 minutes.

Mikael was in a good mood and was cracking jokes the whole night between songs. He introduced Martin three times, saying Martin requested it back stage before they took the stage.
He said he was happy to be back in L.A. - the land of 'cock rock.' And they said they'd be back in April on a different tour.
