Well I remember in the first 03 gig Opeth did here in Melbourne and almost everyone in the room was a big fan and it really felt like there were vast majority of the cities fans all there. I remember wearing my bwp t-shirt back in 01 and people staring at it with a wtf look. Now I quite regularly get METUULLL people looking/smiling/pointing at it, even devil horns towards it. To Jackehh, the first gig in 06 sold out and the 2nd was close, the venue holds 2k iirc. I had a guy stop me and recognize my Alcest t-shirt the other day, that was awesome and made me remember being stopped over and Opeth shirt and it being unique, not some METULLL kids. I've been wearing my Deathspell Omega tshirt recently and I highly doubt any one in Oz will know wtf it is. Although who knows that's what I said about Opeth 7 years back. Although dso are such blak metull rebalz, with no gigs/myspace/official site they won't reach out here.
