but what I recall is that he talked about toronto and ppls started the boos.( that was in the damnation tour I think. So maybe some canadians hate each others. That's stupid.

LOL nah.... When they played at the Opera house in Toronto (with Moonspell and Devildriver blah) on Feb. 24th, 2004 he said the same stuff about Montreal... I think he just likes getting the crowd going, maybe creating a little (more) competition between Montreal and T.O.... The guy from moonspell just yells the name of the city he's playing in to keep the crowd from napping till' Opeth comes on...

It's all in good fun... I also have that show recorded.... from dead center on the upper balcony at the Opera house. It's good shit... I'll always remember that show I almost didn't get in.... got 2 tickets from a scalper like 4 feet from the doors for 30 bucks each.

im from canada. i love opeth i own all the albums im sure the cd sales here are pretty high since i know 4-5 people at my school that own at least 5 of their albums
