Opeth Copyright Question

I asked Mike this but he never replied yet. Anyway, I am about to start work on a book. A horror story if you will. I wanted to use Opeth's name and maybe a song title or two in it. Would it be copyright infringement if I did? Again I asked Mike on myspace today but I dont think he has been on.

As long as you don't try to pass off those names as your own works (ie acknowledge them on that page in the front of the book with publishing information) you should be okay. Authors put real world music and movies and such in the works all the time. Maybe if you wanted to reprint lyrics you'd have to get copyright permission, but to make references to the name or song titles should be alright. Again, you'll have to cite them as such.
