Swedish progressive deathmetallers Opeth have now completed the recordings for “Damnation”. It was recorded at No Man’s Land studios in London, England with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree as producer. Wilson will also mix this album, and it can be expected out in March 2003. According to the band “Damnation” has a strong '70s vibe both in material and production," and will feature material that sounds "nothing like anything we've ever done before."

“Damnation” is the second release in a 2album series from Opeth. The first album, “Deliverance” is now released and is supposed to be the heavy par of these two albums.
