I'm assuming this is local anaesthesia? That's pretty weak for back surgery, I had a general for a very minor lower back op.

I have a herniated disc, and they did a new procedure to alleviate the pain and put it back in place. My previous surgery four years ago on this was much more invasive.

I am recovering well, and thanks for your musical suggestions.
