it wasn't the person who recorded the interview (socialenemy69)...
I was listening to the actual show last night and the interview/dj chick cut the song halfway through....I was like... WTF? I have the cd so it doesn't matter to me but...what about other people who actually wanted to hear the whole song?

The recording that socialenemy69 is pretty much what the interview was like....it was split into 3 segments....I'm wondering...was it done when they were in LA last week?
Yeah thats what happend. That girl was pretty dumb, I have been a long time fan but I dont know how to pronounce the name of the band, so lets spend a good portion of the interview on that.

Long time fan and she wasn't even sure how to correctly pronounce the name? What a douche.

how'd you record that? wtf was with the quality

that was a pretty pathetic interview. at one point the chick tells a joke or something and she gets PWNT when they don't laugh or even dignify a response. guess it wasn't so bad afterall
I used my Iriver MP3 player. I didnt have enough time to set it up properly, so the first few minutes were recorded just with the internal mic right by the speaker, so at around the 2:20 mark you can hear the internal hard drive making that high squeel noise. After that I hooked up the External mic and it sounded a bit better. Next time when I have the time to prepare I will record using the line in on the MP3 Player or I may use Audacity.

KNAC isn't still around? I grew up in So. Cal and in the 90's (yeah...wayyyy back then) they had the BEST shit...Manic Metal with Moshin' John was something that I looked forward to every week...I know they're online now but I haven't listened to it....

?

KNAC went off the air around 95-96. Indie 103 in L.A. is the only station that scratches the surface with metal on the air, and its the only station I listen too regularly.

Yes...I know that...I was just wondering about KNAC.com ...

KNAC went off the air a while ago. They've been on the net for a while though, and I used to listen to KNAC on the internet all the time @ work, but then the quality of the sound (bitrate) was decreased and I stopped listening.

I live in the Bay Area, and one of the only stations here that played metal and was involved in the promotion of metal tours, etc, KSJO, one day just came up as a Mexican station. Couldn't believe it. Hit the preset on the radio expecting to hear some hard stuff, and get some mariachi band :( .
