I can't believe TNATSW lost! For the "you sleep in the light yet the night and the silent water still so dark..." part alone it should have stayed in a couple more rounds. my problem with morningrise is that I enjoy only certain parts of the songs as opposed to the whole songs. I pretty much listen to morningrise mostly for the soft parts, though I love the heavy songs off of the other albums. This time, Advent must go. This one hasn't clicked for me yet, after several months..
BRI has some amazing mellow parts, and TBYF is just.. great

How does a 20 minute length make a song weaker than the others?
Look at Dream Theater's "A Change of Seasons"... a 23 minute progressive masterpiece. I'm sorry to anyone that doesn't like Dream Theater, as even I don't listen to them much anymore, but ACoS is an amazing song, as is Black Rose Immortal.
