Opeth supporting Type O yesterday @Cologne

Just a short review.

Opeth played "only" 4 tracks, which were:

Deliverance
The Drapery Falls
A Fair Judgement
Demon of the Fall

Holy shit! They had the best sound a band could ever get! I mean, I've seen Opeth before but that experience was simply amazing! Except for the fact that you couldn't really hear Peters' guitar when he was playing solos...

I didn't like Type O a lot though they had some nice tunes to come along with and the place was waaaay too overcrowded with only a handful of Opeth fans and a lot of new age vampires

Why was Opeth supporting Type O anyways? They had to be headliner

Can't wait to see them again!

Well they're probably the most popular goth metal band, and Opeth isn't (though, should be) the most popular death metal band.

I was there and it was fucking great!Opeth kicks ass! I missed Deliverance because we arrived to late =/, but than it was wonderful *g*.
I never listened to Type o before but they are really cool but there were too much people!

I hope to see Opeth again in the near future!
