Hey guys
Do any of you know if the Damnation gigs in Ausdtralia will be 18+? It'd be such a shame if it was cause I would miss out again :(

Thanks

it has other mellow stuff according to set lists of previous damnation shows. The setlists i've seen look farkin killer.

AND THIS TIME.. i'm gonna be quick to buy my tickets, so I don't miss the melbourne show and have to drive 600km to adelaide to see the bastards. And I want to meet lotsa people, like yayogakk, jo, moonlapse, and catch up with requiem and brightofski again...

i wanna know this too,

and what are the fucking tourdates and where can we get the tickets if its not 80+? It just sais they're coming in december on their site?

I hope it's <18 because they came a day before my birthday last time (13th April). Would've been the best birthday present ever if I could go. Let's hope my christmas isn't ruined either

Of course it will be 18+. It's a fucking shame but that's the way it's always gonna be unless they somehow increased their fan base by about 10x and played at arenas.

The licensing laws here are shit - just because the place serves alcohol means that no one under 18 will be allowed in whether they'd try and drink or not.

I'm 18 now but when they came here earlier in the year I couldn't go so my friends and I sat outside The Corner hotel door near the stage and listened to their set.

Fuck YUO.

And Yes, it will be 18+ (Barring a minor miracle)

Any the will play other songs, namely Benighted, TBYF, Face of Melinda..... possibly others (Unlikely though)

No DOTF though! :loco:

So obviously all my bugging on the opeth website did the trink then..... you're welcome folks. :Smug:

I have heard Enmore for Sydney so that would be all ages. But I want Metro again with 18+. It's a much more intimate atmosphere and they had perfect sound. Stay with something that works I say. I am guessing a $45 or $50 price. Depending on support. Early December I believe.

Really? Enmore theatre has always been my favourite Sydney venue, has its own unique ambience, Metro feels kind of generic.

I do like the Metro, however, for how close you are to the action i.e stage.

the sound @ the metro last time was awesome
i will bomb the promoters if they make em play @ the Gaelic club... or GAY-LICK CLUB... man soilwork sounded so shite there...
apparently all the bands that play there sound shit...
so yeh metro all the day
entertainment centre would be the best venue but im not sure opeth will sell enuff tickets for entertainment... but then again if its @ enter.. it'll be all ages
so maybe...
cant wait!
and they played demon of the fall as an encore last time and i doubt they'll play any of the songs they played off the deliverance tour...

im gonna ask em @ instore(if they have another one) to play credence :D
