Good death metal lines must have many 'r' s in them.
such as "Over troubled waters, memories soar" which is very nice to sing along.

Have to say that this is the best Opeth line. "awaiting me like the night awaits the day", i'm not completely sure what it means, but its dramatic like hell. Brilliant.

another killer part.

"the memories that now rests in this forest"
"hidden inside the golden shrine"
shrine is a friggin violent word.

Partially awesome just because the song is awesome and they are growled quite well, but lyrically alone its still sufficiently dark.

However, 'Kept warm by the light of the lantern' always gets me. Reminds me of Tenchu, but in a kind and nurturing way.
