Been thinking about buying a used Orange Tiny Terror to replace my Marshall MG100 solid state head.

Its a straight cab, all speakers work.

I think this cab either has Celestion or V-30 speakers.

The used Tiny Terror was like $350 or so. Not bad. Heard good reviews about them, and I could always use a tube head.

Just wondering if it would work, and if I'm making a smart decision I guess.

Get a 6505 or something, those amps can't really handle metal tones, maybe good for stoner rock type stuff though.

I have the micro terror, and I would assume it sounds close to the mini terror. It's surprisingly cool to play, really, and I am having a lot of fun playing on this, but yeah, I wouldn't have this as a main amp for pure metal tones though. For its price, it's still cool to have, it's cheap and doesn't take too much space.

Tiny Terrors CAN work for metal, but there are much better options out there. I see them as more of a classic rock/stoner type of amp. Can't go wrong with a 6505, Dual Rectifier, or a JCM800

P.S. Vintage 30's are Celestions
