The list would be many artists and bands, from oriental/folk through rock/pop and to metal. My personal list would certainly contain Iron Maiden, Omar Faruk Takbilek, Joe Satriani, Dead Can Dance and many more.

I like complex things like At The Gates or classic music, I also like Pucinni and Verdi's Operas, I like Arabic, oriental music like Om kolthoum, Omar Faruk, Bustan Abraham, further more I like Iron maiden, Metallica, Opeth, doomish bands like My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Anathema, I also like Indian music, from Ravi Shankar to some prayers that I have, I like to hear the muslim muazines, I like gregorian music, simple music with singer and guitar like Leonard Cohen, Mercedes Sosa, Amalia Rodrigez, Cameron, Nick Drake, I like Nick Cave very Much and Peter Murphy too, I like 70's rock bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, The Doors, I like Camel, Porcupine Tree, Air, and more and more, they are all + milion more are some kingd of inspiration on me - my favorite band from all times (when I count music, lyrics, show, artwork) is - Depeche Mode!
