Any thoughts on this one yet? I think it rules, great mix of ethnic middle eastern music, prog, and death metal. The vocals seem to be a lot cleaner than the last couple times around, with a lot of magestic almost power metal melodies, but without the cheese and fruitiness. I especially like the vast array of instruments used and the variety between songs and sections of the songs. It's long as hell too, almost 70 minutes between 12 tracks. I think it's a LOT better than their first two albums, which were not bad at all themselves.

I've had it sitting in my download folder for about a week and haven't listened to more than a song yet. I heard great things about it but just haven't been bothered to listen to it. From what I have heard i can say that the vocalist pisses me off. Dunno why, but he does. :erk:

Well, he's certainly better than every power metal vocalist ever. But that's not hard to do, even Jon Davis can claim that. His voice doesn't bother me, but it could be better, less nasal. But it's a lot better than average, so I'm pleased.

Kobi Farhi is a great vocalist...i like his voice very much...
he has this vey clean voice...
his growls are great too...

anyway, this album kicks ass....definitely their best work :headbang:

yeah I really like it, but i like El Norria better- its rawer, and a bit more arabic.

The dude is a damn good singer, i agree he is much better than any poewer metal singer, hes not a show off like most of those castrated banshees.

I didn't like their first two albums nearly as much. They were too typical. The ethnic elements seemed pasted on, like an afterthought. They are definitely much better integrated now. And I don't care which was more heavy.
