This is the translation of the Arabic part from the Quran:

"Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of Allah all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration."

"They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous."

"Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knoweth well those that do right. "

Thats all.

Thank you very much for translating!

Now i am really curious what the other parts mean.

I think that the designer picked Random Verses , cos the ones from the quran dont make any sense.I mean what does he want to tell us ?

Maybe he picked verses from the quran, that fit verses from thora and bible? It is about bringing religions together, not about own meanings.

Maybe it was Uri, for he's the designer, but possibly the verses were picked by Kobi.
it's worth asking the guys

This is what the mabool-booklet says - also the naked girl in the logo was made by Uri.

hm...if you study graphic design, what about you think of an artwork for OrwarriOr?

Would be worth a contest - create your own OL cover! :D

Yeah, I dont think Kobi picked random verses, we have to translate the hebrew and english ones too and see

we don't have to translate the english ones...we just have to decipher the handwriting.

the bottom hebrew verse:for the scream tore the heart of the heaven and hell ...for us called for mercy and filled our hearts.
the left one: how your people came from all corners of exile(world)...his bitter cry lifted you all up... and made you all bitter(not sure about this last part)
right verse: and shall break from its source...the great pleasent bright and warm tear...for it we shall pray

it does make sense indeed since it talks about the People of the Book, which means Jews and Christians as I explained in another topic (I guess you already know it of course) and the triangle is about the three religions, so... it's a message for unification on its own.

The triangle is orignally a buddhist symbol, or I could be wrong, but I could tell you I've seen what looks like it many times during my time in Thailand.

So whats the link between the Hebrew and the Arabic Excerpts :Smug: the Auther just picked random verses..

@UnConscious:it does not make sense cos the author picked random verses from the whole Quran.not saying that the verse it self doesn't make a sense.
what have you read about the Chritsans and jews in the Quran?. Tell Us.as my self I dont read in the quran(btw are you some kind of "sheik"?)

Maybe the Auther wanted to tell us that there is a link between the 3 Religons and the symbol in the middle (7 inside the jews star) so that symbol brings the three Religons together.(I wonder what does the symbol in the middle mean? anyway and why the number "7")

I think 7 represents god or it could represent Adam...and the album is called "Mabool- the story of the three sons of Seven" as the three main monotheistic relligions believe in one god and consider themselves as his followers or sons.

the name of the album is also clearly derived from Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son of the Seventh Son".

That makes sense if 7=God

It doesn't seem to be linked with the Hebrew parts, but the album talks about the unification of the three religions and that part from Quran explains Islam's view about the other religions. So, the album and the verses from Quran are somehow related.
I'm not a sheikh or something, I didn't understand why you said something like that..?

Indeed 7 is the number of god. And it's now a davids star in the middle, it is a "pentagramm" but with 7 corners (7-gramm so to say). try to paint it, it's really difficult.

Why 7?!

I read about a christian meaning, saying that it combines the divine trinity (3 father, son and holy ghost) with the world (4, like 4 directions or 4 elements).
We have 7 deadly sins and 7 virtues.

In Judaism
The old testament sais, the world was found in 7 days. The 7th day (sabbath) is a holy day to worship god, a menora has 7 candles.

Islam:
Also here: the 7 is the number of heavens and the number of worlds (I hope i understood correctly)

for any more information all around the number 7 and its meanings have a look here.

I guess we should wait with discussing about the verses until somone deciphered the english verses, maybe it makes sense then. (sorry, i can't read it...)

But do you really think, that after OL wrote a whole concept album about uniting 3 religions, with loads of quotes from the book of Genesis, Yemem texts and Rabbi quotas that they really picked something meaningless?

c'mon dudes, I thought we'd know better.

The seventh son of a seventh son is said to be a vampire. i guess this is why they choose this name.
