Osama bin laden dead

There is no reason to believe anything Obama says about his past is true. No president has been more secretive about his past nor spent as much money to cover it up. Why is it that he has to keep his birth certificate, grades and health records secret when all other presidents and some candidates released their records? What is the point? Why spend so much money?

There's plenty of reason to believe that he is hiding something, whether it be his birth place or poor academic performance.

Orly? Dubya never tried to hide the fact that he was AWOL in the ANG? Ever heard of Watergate?

Oh, I am a clone. Says so on my birth certificate, dated June 17th, 1999.

I could argue, but why do I feel you're gonna pull the socialist card on me just because I live in Sweden? Not that I'm equalling communism with socialism.

Why the fuck would you argue with me when I just agreed with you? I live in Italy, which has a strong social system as well...does that mean I'm a socialist?

Sorry man. I thought that by 'This too' you were referring to the 'laughable' part of my post. My bad.

People who look at anything that is socialized as a bad thing are automatically morons. There IS socialism in the US...it's called medicare and social security. Fuck me running, even the title of Social Security spells socialism.

"Keep yer gubment hands off mah Medicare!!!"

And for the record, if Obama were really a naturalized US citizen and not born on US soil, I'd STILL want him leading the country over anything the right has to offer.

This whole thing about being born in the US being a requirement for Presidency is retarded. The US is a fucking nation of immigrants, founded by immigrants, for immigrants. If I have to choose between a person born in fucking Antarctica whose parents move to the US when he's a kid, and that person can bring peace and prosperity to the US and the world, WHY IN THE HELL would I choose someone worse for the job just because he was spit out of his mother's vagina on US soil?

It's retarded and it needs to be changed. Tradition for the sake of tradition without any real tangible benefit is fucking stupid and should be abolished in the name of progress.

Can you name your sources for that belief? I'm not disagreeing with you, for the moment, because I don't know enough about it.

edit: Post jumped!

Well, to many the Constitution is not only the Supreme Law but the Supreme Truth. Just look at how protective some are of the Second Amendment. And that's just an amendment. Good luck trying to change the Big Kahuna.

That's something I just can't get my head around. I mean, how can you believe that 250 years later things shouldn't change. The founding fathers HATED the very same thing everyone's doing now with all this ancestor hero worship; it was something they were escaping from. Yet, people do the very same thing today, holding them up like gods. There was fucking slavery 250 years ago...does that mean we should have slavery today?

Nope. We shall only have what's clearly stated in the Constitution, nothing more nothing less, forever and ever. Isn't it ironic how some interpret the Constitution in much the same way as those who believe what's written in the Qur'an justifies jihad?

I hate (but was expecting) how this has still divided us because of political affiliation, rather than us coming together in this moment... To be united in this time...

Whether you're Republican.. Democratic... Libertarian... None of the above... AMERICAN OR NOT... AS A HUMAN BEING... One can be glad that a great evil, (you can argue about whatever he was responsible for, or not, regardless, the man committed evil deeds...) has been wiped off the face of the Earth this day...

I mean... I almost feel guilty for being so content as a result of one's death... But I will say it loud, and proud... I am glad that this terrible person is gone... An evil man has been killed for committing evil deeds... I think anyone who is not evil themselves can appreciate this...

I am not happy for an "end to terrorism" or anything as naive as that... I am happy simply for what is aforementioned...

People are worried for a retaliation... For a backlash... Well...
What would be better? To let this man be free, knowing he's killed so many, and committed such horrendous acts? Such a person does not deserve to live...

Because if we LET him live.. Then what? Terrorists win, basically... I mean, think about it... If we live in terror, afraid to act, is this NOT what they want? (It's the very root of the word...)

Even if we didn't kill him, terrorists would've found a reason to want to attack us anyway, hahaha... With this, it just might be sooner than later, and since (hopefully) the government is wary of it, we may be able to take better preventative measures...

I realize the use of the word "evil" may make me come off as a staunchly religious individual... I'm not... I don't have any religious affiliation... (I'm agnostic/deist..)
I'm just a very "spiritual" person, I'd say.. With a strict code of honor, haha...

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that"
— Martin Luther King Jr

A great man.. And this is a very poignant; valid point...

I just respectfully disagree with it...
I believe evil needs to be violently and evilly punished itself... (Somewhat have a moral universalism/objectivity philosophy on things)

Think of a toned-down version of Rorschach from Watchmen, haha...

And I'm not talking about an end to hate.. An end to darkness... As no offense, but those are idealist/naive notions on my realist philosophy on life...

I'm talking, again, with JUST what was aforementioned... An evil man finally being brought to some sort of justice... I am glad that he is dead, because it means I won't HAVE to mourn a thousand MORE precious lives at his hands...

Oh, and I'm not insulting people WITH those views... I hope it didn't come off that way... I'm happy for those that can think and feel this way... Happy that they ARE idealistic... With the way I grew up/circumstances of my life... It's just not as..... Easy for me, heh...
