I'll be 30 in a couple of weeks, I play bass in a metal/hard rock band. I'm married with 2 kids. My youngest son has autism. I'm a systems manager for a retail company and live in the chicago burbs.

31.. Play guitar in a cover band. We play 70's Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Floyd, AIC, STP, Velvet Revolver, The Dead, Cream and stuff and try not to pick songs you will hear on the radio..

Some of my favorite groups are Aerosmith, The Stones, Slayer, Megadeth, Motley Crue, The Real Gn'R, Black Sabbath.. Some rap especially DMX and love old blues like Howlin Wolf....

I work as an executive assistant to the Vice-President of a large construction company here in Queens, NY (we were one of the contractors involved in ground zero)
I've been playing bass since the 3rd grade (started on bass violin and switch to bass guitar in high school)...also learned other instruments that I'm sure you guys are not interested in.

I'm 28. I play guitar for myself as a hobby but play with different people. Write alot of original stuff and have played covers too like Velvet Revolver, Guns and Roses, Metallica, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, AC/DC, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam. We played "Safe Home" once. I nailed the solo but I haven't practiced it in a while. I work as a bartender in the spring/summer time and a fine dining server the rest of the year. No kids, never been married (much like my guitar playing, I like to play with different people). One day, I'll find the right one to forge ahead with. Until then, Rock on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drink everything. My favorite beers are Yuengling, Sierra Nevada pale ale and Corona. My favorite wines are reds from napa valley, burgundy, bordeaux and oregon. my favorite whites are from new zealand and france.

I don't have a favorite food because I eat everthing.

I play lead guitar/backing vocals for a living (such as it is) in a band I hate. No point changing just yet as I plan to emigrate to Noo Joisey in the near (hopefully) future, and can't be arsed starting from scratch just to dump it in a few months.

Don't go to enough gigs, but the best I ever saw was Pink Floyd at Earls Court in London, '94 fookin' awesome gig. I guess Maiden would come next Sheffield City Hall '88, they too kicked ass.

Favourite drink: Newcastle Broon Ale if ya hadn't noticed, although Stella Artois will do in a pinch. Or a bottle of Jack.

Favourite food: Anything will do.

Favourite band: Depends which way the wind is blowing!

On the need to drop a few pounds, I used to weigh over 400 pounds and lost 170 of it. I run allot and am going to do a couple triathlons this year.

I've been always into some sports - swimming, fencing, boxing, soccer. I like to follow hockey very much though not a real player myself.
In 1986-88 I was in russian army and might have killed some innocent people in Afghanistan, for this I will always be sorry. I just hope it didn't happened.

Anthrax(pref. with John+Rob), Zeppelin, Sabbath(any), Purple, Queen, Floyd, L. Cohen, Zappa, Sepultura,Type O, Biohazard... I have no idea why there are Queen and Biohazard neighboring in my subconciosness, but they're doing very well in there.
I've become a member of this forum just last year though I've been reading threads in here since '02 (mostly for updates). Even if sometimes we have certain disagreements here, still we're all friends...

The only real job I have ever had is a legal secretary although I am seriously contemplating going back to school in the next year or so. I'm the sole breadwinner right now (ok, crumb winner - I don't make that much) while my husband goes to school. I design jewelry, am captain of my team for fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I also volunteer at a website where you can "adopt" terminally or chronically ill children and send them happy mail to cheer them up.
