Oh I actually asked since here in South America and most of my US friends never talk about indian food, as much as my UK friends.

in the UK a curry is almost our national dish these days, in any city of any size in the uk you can go out to a curry or balti restaurant.

it's traditional to go down the pub, get wasted, then stop off for a curry on the way home to sober you up.

Oddly enough.... Some friends and I are going out for Indian food tomorrow... But I'm in Canada not the UK.

Speaking of which...I saw Ravi Shankar live a few months ago. He was quite amazing.

I'm doing monitors for him in a week or so.....the best part is I know that I'll get to eat some killer Indian food.
