Our haul

I wouldn't call it a haul as such, but in the past week or two I've bought or received from Gary Carson the following:

- Mullmuzzler - Keep It To Yourself (from Gary)
- Mullmuzzler 2 (from Gary)
- Derek Sherinian - Inertia (from Gary, already had it)
- Derek Sherinian - Black Utopia (from Gary)
- Planet X - Universe (from Gary)
- Planet X - MoonBabies (from Gary, already had it)
- Planet X - Live From Oz (from Gary, already had it)
- Pyramaze - Melancholy Beast (from Gary)
- Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
- Red Hot CHili Peppers - By the Way
- Pain of Salvation - 12:5
- Tiles - Presents of Mind
- The Flower Kings - Adam & Eve
- Little Birdy - Big Big Love
- Dream Theater - Live at Budokan (both the CD and DVD)
- Fates Warning - Fates Warning X

Mmmm... new music. :D

I ordered the DVD from Amazon. I have never ordered from Amazon before, but for around $29 including postage for a double DVD that won't be available in region 4, let alone hard to get here on import, and when you do find it here it would likely be 40+ dollars, I was quite happy to sign up to Amazon. :)

I too ordered the DVD from Amazon. I too have never ordered from Amazon before, but for around $29 including postage for a double DVD that won't be available in region 4, let alone hard to get here on import, and when you do find it here it would likely be 40+ dollars, I too was quite happy to sign up to Amazon.

I'll just be ripping the audio from the DVD onto my mp3 player - no need for the CD then. Once upon a time I would have been more than happy to pay $45 for a DT CD, but not anymore, no sir/madam.

The songs themselves are the same on the DVD and the CD... this is the tracklist (you lazy bastards, took me two seconds to find!):

1. As I am
2. This Dying Soul
3. Beyond This Life
4. Hollow Years
5. War Inside My Head
6. The Test that Stumped Them All
7. Endless Sacrifice
8. Instrumedly
9. Trial of Tears
10. New Millennium
11. Keyboard Solo
12. Only a Matter of Time
13. Goodnight Kiss
14. Solitary Shell
15. Stream of Conciousness
16. Disappear
17. Pull Me Under
18. In the Name of God

Yeah but all their old albums have been covered on Live in Tokyo and Once in a LIVEtime, and even some on LSFNY. This was a DVD for the TOT tour, and since none of the SDOIT material has been released before, it's obvious they would concentrate on SDOIT and TOT.

If you wanna listen to the old shit, go watch LIT! :p

But I must admit that I would have loved to see Learning to Live on this release...

I refuse to listen to Once in a Livetime anymore because it's one of the worst live albums I've heard. Urgh. Thank Ged that LSFNY was better.

I don't care much for 6DOIT. Meh. They kinda lost me once Derek left the band.
