Well, I'll be seeing Overkill/Kreator/Warbringer tonight in Dallas.. should be an awesome show.

Yeah.. Blackguard is still selling 2011 tour shirts because their last manager made some poor buying decisions..

Ironically, the same manager and agent as Overkill.

Did Overkill really make event/city specific shirts???
Wow, that is VERY ballsy.
People collect Maiden shirts.
Their leftover stock sells big time because business saavy fans buy backstock and resell on eBay.

Also keep in mind that the more you buy, the cheaper your per unit cost is.

The issue here though is each night Overkill are competing with Kreator for sales.

Granted, I know Overkill have another tour in the works, well, per Enter the Vault at least, so my guess is you will see some of the same shirts? Unless did EVERY tour have current dates on them?

Yup.. The event specific shirts all have dates.. They had one for Texas for the Dallas and San Antonio dates. It's cool, but yeah, it's a huge risk for them.. They seemed to be selling well, at least the Texas ones.

On the downside.. Eddie Trunk called Kreator "new school thrash metal". From the stage. I'm out on him for good - my cat knows more about metal than Trunk.

(He signed books all freaking night, during the Warbringer and Kreator sets..introduced Overkill, saying that when they started playing, he was going to stop signing and "rage with you guys". Apparently "raging" means "disappearing", since he was not seen again..)
