I knew a guy like that, he also had to dye his moustache and goatee.I think there are hairstyles to suit the individual, women look much better with long hair, for me they need a pretty face to look good in short hair but then again a pretty face will look good no matter what.
My cheeks were a bit plump as a kid and short hair made my face look fatter so I grew my hair out to balance it. I got into Metal & didn't cut it when I lost the puppy fat.
Have been tempted to cut it in summer & often think about it during training.

One guy I know who's big into Metal said he cut his hair when Grunge came in after seeing hordes of long haired Nirvana/Soundgarden fans walk into his record store. I can just remember this, long hair went from minority to majority. Funny how it's still strongly associated with Metal, especially when hippies had long hair way before.
Another thing with guys, long hair starts to look bad and get really hard to maintain when their hair is thinning. Metallica started looking that way and it was annoying to hear 'kiddies' say they cut their hair because they 'sold out'. They sold out at least one album before their hair cut, lol.

I'm still growing my hair, two years soon
I think that everyone that is growing long hair will say "AMGAD DIS R SO WIN!" and everyone that cuts it is more "BEST SHIT EVUR!"... that is why they cut it. Personally I think it looks awesome and I'm not gonna cut my hair untill it's down to my ass and shit gets stuck in it

I wish there was that much snow here! It's getting close, but we don't have quite that much.
Cats are definitely awesome. They always find some way to get into trouble or be amusing.
