Yeah of course! Im going to see Ralf next month actually. Its his birthday and we're going to get fucking trashed. I dont speak to Lars as much, he is in a committed relationship with an awesome girl and I can see why he doesnt spend too much time on the net! Hows things your end anyway?

How is the usual weekend activity of youths/teenagers/parents better? I mean very heavy drinking, what you did a lot if I have to remind you.

It's actually better and healthier if you smoke a joint a week (what I don't do) than to booze your brain out every weekend.

I'm not fan of fulltime smokers, but the damnation of weed - especially by people who drink alcohol - is just hypocritical.


EDIT: Although I have to agree that most heavy smokers are annoying to deal with if you're not one of them.

I got your msn message, thanks. but I never said anything about how drinking is better than smoking. that's a very debatable topic. not everyone drinks to get drunk. but it's pretty obvious that a person smokes weed to get high. So just because some people relax on the weekend by having only 1 or 2 drinks, it doesn't mean they're "boozing their brain out". (and this is not in reference to myself. I don't drink very often anymore)

and a car operated by a person who is high out of his mind will hit you just as hard. if the cops find you high while driving, that will constitute as a DUI (driving under the influence), at least it does here in America.

you don't even have to be stoned to get charged. Even if they just suspect that you're high or smoking on a regular basis the cops will test you and if you fail you are fucked even if you're not stoned but smoked weed some time ago . I guess it's the same in America.
but i didn't say driving high is better than drivin drunk, you got me wrong there. i guess it's quite the same, even if you have to be high as fuck to drive like a drunk bastard(i'm always sober while driving )
I just meant to say that smoke annoys non smoker and harms them but a car hitting a crowd is a faster way to kill them

A car operated by a person who is high out of his mind will probably arrive safely since Marijuana does not impair your judgment. If you start to drive like an idiot, you can tell what you are doing and fix the situation. I've been on the highway doing 130km/h, hitting my pipe, while steering a broken down pedovan with broken handling. I also used to hotbox the shit out of the car while parked, and drive away with the windows open so I can see the smoke billow out. I've never driven drunk, but I've been in cars with people who shouldn't have been driving, and know the difference. Drive with anyone "high out of their mind", and the worst case scenario would be you probably drive way to slow, and need to make constant drink stops.

If you are so goddamn high that you are acting like a drunk driver, then you pull over for 5-10 minutes, relax, and your fine. Worst case scenario, you pull over for 30 minutes, and wait for it to wear off, because as much as most people would like to think, Alcohol isn't the same thing as pot.

I've seen people who actually drive infinitely better when stoned. Sober, the asshole is a maniac cutting people off tearing down the street, and totaled 3 cars in 7 years. Stoned, he goes 5-10 under the limit, and is so worried about getting arrested he takes extra care into every little maneuver.

Don't know your laws but thats not the case here at all. Marijuana stays in your system for about a month, you can easily say you were in the same room as pot smokers two weeks ago, and may have inhaled second hand smoke, thus you weren't driving under the influence. In fact, its legal to have under a half-ounce (14g) on you, as any more is seen as "intent to distribute". Only time cops caught us we had a total of like 1.5g on us together, and he just took it and told us to keep in our basements/attics.

oh wow I hope you know the same exact argument applies to those who drive home drunk. Most people drive home drunk 100s of times before they get caught by the police/have something bad happen. aww daniel, that's so nice of you to save the bird A similar thing happened to me at my old house, but the bird was really badly injured so the poor thing ended up dying.

I have had friends drive home drunk, and no, not all of them made it home causing no harm, and most have stopped because of that incident. BAC has NOTHING to do with your argument, seeing as pot doesn't affect your BAC. Too many people think pot and alcohol are the same thing, or that they share soo many similar properties and they don't. I'm sure MOST people drive 100s of times before getting caught.

Basically, I don't think I'd be able to do 80+ hours of driving a week on Canada's busiest roads/highways, in rusted broken vans where the breaks/handling/acceleration/fucking floor are all shot to hell, if I was downing a 26er every day as I cruised. However I used to smoke while driving constantly (new bowl per album basically). This also includes city driving in my own car since I was 17.

For the issue of assuring everyone's safety on the roads around my area. My Licenses was taken away recently for completely unrelated reasons .

EDIT: tl;dr no one cares, and no one is swaying either's opinions "I was in this class, so I know!" "well I was in this situation, so I KNOW!"
