I'll be at the Blossom Music Center show on August 19th.


I am not a big SJR fan, so I could care less about their part of the show, and somehow I have never heard Dimmu, but I'd like to have seen the top 4-5 bands play longer sets. I have never seen Priest or Sabbath live so that should be cool. And although I really like Priest, how do you follow Slayer?

J, that is wild that Angel of Death was dropped?!!!!

I wanna hear Payback, Raining Blood, and Disciple for sure. I could live without Hallowed Point.

Priest set looks pretty good. I am looking forward to Hatebreed. Never seen Slipknot. I love the way they end their set. Fucking hard and fast!

The second stage is over long before the mainstage starts, so there is no interference. Priest play a good 15 minutes longer than the Sabs. This is a Priest show!

Actually, according to the Ozzfest site, Slipknot ends at 4:45. Also at that time, BLS starts on the main stage. There isn't really any interference, but I would imagine that there will be a lower attendance for BLS due to the crowd trying to make it from the one stage to the other.

Yeah they were cool as hell too! So were Hatebreed but I didn't "review" them 'cause I don't know shit about them. I wanted to see Lacuna, but I got there too late. Oh well, they are opening for SJR next month in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

To me it was great they just didn't run thru a "best of" set list like some bands do when opening. If you can win over 18,000 fans with rare songs from your catalog, then it makes it that much more impressive.
