I would rather have less bands and longer sets. Superjoint gets 5 songs what is that 20 minutes for them? Dimmu gets 4 songs, in the middle of the day? I think I'll just go see them at Bogarts.

I think it's funny Priest plays longer than Sabbath. At least that is how it looks to me.
its weird how the set pans out,one would think bls would get an hour and why would they play before sjr!!!

and is slipknot on the second stage conflicting with some big acts,it would be intersting to see the impact they had on the main stage?

I'll be at the Blossom Music Center show on August 19th.

I am not a big SJR fan, so I could care less about their part of the show, and somehow I have never heard Dimmu, but I'd like to have seen the top 4-5 bands play longer sets. I have never seen Priest or Sabbath live so that should be cool. And although I really like Priest, how do you follow Slayer?

J, that is wild that Angel of Death was dropped?!!!!

I wanna hear Payback, Raining Blood, and Disciple for sure. I could live without Hallowed Point.

Priest set looks pretty good. I am looking forward to Hatebreed. Never seen Slipknot. I love the way they end their set. Fucking hard and fast!

Actually, according to the Ozzfest site, Slipknot ends at 4:45. Also at that time, BLS starts on the main stage. There isn't really any interference, but I would imagine that there will be a lower attendance for BLS due to the crowd trying to make it from the one stage to the other.

Holy fuck! Check out the Wall of Death during Lamb of God's set. Fucking insane! I'm looking forward to seeing them, they put on a killer show, but I am not getting anywhere near this fucker.

Holy shit! That reminds me of the battle scenes in the LOTR movies.

Also, I love their vocalist's Anti-Bush shirt.:D
I wonder what kind of shirt he'd be wearing if Tipper Gore was currently our first lady and working on banning Lamb Of God's music...
:err:

How can Slayer not play Angel of Death. That's like AC/DC forgetting to do Back In Black
very true but at least they had the balls to drop it,alot of fans woulda been pissed off but i bet there were a few that enjoyed another song hint hint!

To me it was great they just didn't run thru a "best of" set list like some bands do when opening. If you can win over 18,000 fans with rare songs from your catalog, then it makes it that much more impressive.
u hit the nail on the head td

I need help. I have an opportunity to get a photo pass for Ozzfest in Wisconsin, August
14th. However, I need to "have an assignment for a print/web/magazine." I
would be very appreciative if anyone that had a metal webzine/website could
sponsor me in exchange for photos to post on their site. If anyone is
interested, please get back to me as soon as possible as the first person
who takes advantage of this will be the one I choose.

Thank you,
Scott
