because they are big places with chairs, if you dont want seats you pay more, I had floor at girst Gigantour, and I usually get floor at most concerts.

Fucking $130 for Rush Floor tickets, They sold out all of the Air Canada Center in one day...Twice .

UA where i went had like 3-4k seats and like 1-2k people could fit on the floor

haha I told this at work, they almost peed their pants because of laughing (well, one was still a little drunk because she went out yesterday evening, but that doesn't matter )
