He posted the name of a scene release, which means that he didn't rip it and that it's probably in mp3 format and VBR. I doubt he has his own version or he would have mentioned it.

By "scene" we refer to all teams of releasers around: rippers for the most part, but not limited to music. Basically, the community that provides the Internet with leaks and warez of all sorts. You can find more info here. I thought it was worth mentioning the word again because "the scene" apparently has rules when it comes to encoding records and movies: while there exist lossless rips, the most common kind of scene release uses VBR (I'm sure you can find the exact equation that constitutes the current standard, too). Besides, of course, being out of the control of the single user such as you or me or Tranquillian.

I listened to the whole show, and it was amazing. After the show, Mikael Stanne made a painting of the band, and all of them wrote their signatures on it. He said that it was going to be the 1st prize in a lottery, but he only made one copy.
