I thoroughly enjoy the music and vocals of PoS. Sometimes I just need a break from the usual and Pain of Salvation gives that to me.

Actually, the music is definitely some of the most original i've ever heard. Definitely the best band in their genre hands down.

He means Remedy Lane. Try Perfect Element Part 1, rebirth. It's their most mature album musically in my opinion. BE is their most challenging, One Hour by the Concrete Lake is probably their most consistently aggressive, Entropia is their most disjointed, and Remedy Lane is their most emotional and sincere album. I can't wait to see how Scarsick turns out.I love all their stuff but it can be tedious at times. It's so dense and richly layered it's hard to listen to for long periods. Also, with so much stuff going on, the guitars ahve to be mixed so thin to fit nto the mix, not a fan of their overall production.
That being said, i think they are a fantastic band and Gildenlow is without question one of the best out there.
