Paradise Lost Cover...is it the real thing?

Nope, I talked with MJR at length on the phone tonight & the artwork still isn't finalized yet; probably sometime this week, he's guessing. He found it somewhat amusing that BW&BK had made such a claim.

I guess the final cover will look like that with some fixes and it looks cool to me. Would've preferred something similar to that of "The Odyssey" but it's the music that matters anyway.

I think that one seems already pretty good and I won't be disapointed if it's (close to) final. But it's possible that it's something different, cause there is no confirmation from the band yet.

Will the tracklist be revealed at the same time with the cover btw?

I hope they make it less 3d and smoothen some details. and remove that lenseflare effect.

thats not lense flare... the winged chick is envoking the ancient power of the prog gods. soon she will trumph all her enemies with a face melting 23rd note string skipping lick played on a ukelele made from the ancient wood of the tree of romeo from the land of lepond, by the hand of ancient craftsmaster rullo.

and russel allen and mike pinella crown her queen of the lost paradise.

I still can't find the waterfall in that cover.
probably because there is none

The cover looks pretty cool. I like the color scheme a lot - seems like it'll fit the "darker" tone we were told this album would have. Maybe if it gets a little less 3D before the final version, I'd be happier. Either way, it's cool. I was worried they'd have a really shitty cover, since most prog metal band seem to love bad cover art lately.
