Paradise Lost Sales figures?

I'm attached to Heinz as I am to Miracle Whip.

Heinz > any other ketchup for sure.

I'm from England - practically no fucker over here speaks foreign languages to any great degree, because most of us are lazy bastards who opt out of it at the first opportunity because it involves effort. Also, there isn't that much opportunity to speak anything other than French, which I did at school. Pretty much every other country puts Britain to shame in terms of language. Not good.

i've had ketchup in US and Canada and I never noticed any different. BUT i went to the states and I couldn't find a bag of Ketchup chips anywhere.... WTF IS THAT?!??!?!

haha we went up to canada a few times for our yearly Symphonic band trips in high school and my band director was obsessed with ketchup chips. During my senior year, all the graduating seniors got together and we got him a whole crate of them when we were up there.

"Paradise Lost" sold just under 6,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

SYMPHONY X's new CD, "Paradise Lost", has registered the following first-week chart positions around the world:
USA: #123
Sweden: #32
Germany: #50
France: #60
Netherlands: #59
UK: #169 (rock/metal chart: #12)

wooo go sweden

Well, if we're pointing fingers at education systems for language issues...then trust me the US isn't any better off than you guys. Many school districts here still don't require foreign languages. I graduated from High School last year and I was only required to have 2 years of a foreign language. I opted for Spanish just because it seemed to be the easiest and in all honesty I don't remember a whole lot of what I learned. It's not that intensive of a program for those who only strive to meet the minimum requirements. I was one of those people mostly because I had so much other stuff on my plate, but also because I didn't have much interest in learning a foreign language.
However, I guess a lot of schools (elementary schools and even kindergarden) are starting to put more emphasis on teaching spanish to kids at a younger age. I have cousins in grade school who've already learned as much spanish if not more than I had by the time I was a junior in high school. On one hand I think it's cool because it's helping kids to be a little more cultured and open minded by the time they get older. On the other hand, I think it's kind of sad that our society HAS to start teaching our kids spanish just so they can interact more easily with all the migrant workers who come to this country unable to speak the native language. Oh well....maybe that makes me a close-minded biggot but meh *shrugs shoulders*

Believe me, it´s more sad that our society has to start teaching our kids english just so they can interact more easily with all the businessmen who come to any country of South America, unable to speak the native language. So, you´ve got the money, and I´ve got the english concepts (wich is really poor and sucks hardlly)

it does

I dunno if this is the ACTUAL reason, but someone up there told me it's that ketchup in Canada has vinegar in it as a preservative whereas in the states it's corn syrup. Don't know if that's the case......but ketchup definitely does taste different.

in scrubs the ketchup they use is Heinz, whose recipe features vinegar, heinz is the winner of ketchups.

That's the way we do things here. It's awesome. I see you have msn, you may want to look into joining the epic chats. As long as you can put up with us, and aren't weird. Ps: don't hit on charis too much, too soon. You'll know what that means someday...

YEAHYEAHYEAH! GIMME!!!!

SR have you tried Ketchup chips? I mean, if you have and you don't like them, thats fine, being a freak is cool these days, but just be sure you try em if you haven't.

p.s. We do have the Lays chips with dill pickle flavoring...
those are good! BTW, has anyone tried those mystery Doritos? They come in a black bag (see below) and you're supposed to guess the flavor (the hint they give is "an All American Classic"...I think it's cheeseburger...actually pretty good, but the smell they leave behind is hard to get off your fingers

oh man, I bought those in a rush for a barbeque we had with a bunch of family friends and stuff. i saw the Doritos logo and didn't think twice....I almost barfed after the first few I ate though. I actually got more of a "hot dog with everything on it" flavor than cheeseburger though.
