Paranoid Android

Who's in a bunker, who's in a bunker?
Women and children first
and the children first
and the children
I laugh until my head comes off
Swallow until I burst
Until I burst
Until I...
Who's in a bunker, who's in a bunker?
I have seen to much
You haven't seen enough
You haven't it
I laugh until my head comes off
Women and children first
And children first
And the children

Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time
Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time

Ice age comin'
Ice age comin'
Let me hear both sides
Let me hear both sides
Let me hear both
Ice age comin'
Ice age comin'
Throw 'em in the fire
Throw 'en in the fire
Throw 'em on
We're not scare-mongering
This is really happening, happening
We're not scare-mongering
This is really happening, happening
Mobiles squirking
Mobiles chirping
Take the money and run
Take the money and run
Take the money

Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time
Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time
Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time
Here I'm alive
Everything all of the time

The first of the children
The first of the children
The first of the children
The first of the children

So I'm wondering, could Radiohead be one of those bands that everyone 'round here agrees on?

No.
Could you old people please stop being so fucking gay sometime soon? NIN and Radiohead and Village People and Queen and [insert lots of gay bands here]

Nope. Except the Village People are stupid, unless really drunk, and then they are just fun stupid.

Erik might like some Radiohead. Might.

So tonight I was listening to a bootleg of Radiohead whilst eating my dinner. Yeah, well, needless to say, "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" and "Let Down" might just give "Paranoid Android" a run for its money.

The last verse of "Let Down" is quite possibly the greatest piece of music ever recorded:

You know, you know where you are with,
you know where you are with,
floor collapsing, falling, bouncing back
and one day, I'm gonna grow wings,
a chemical reaction, [You know where you are,]
hysterical and useless [you know where you are,]
hysterical and [you know where you are,]

let down and hanging around....

Hey how is Amnesiac? I heard it's pretty much leftovers from Kid A, but not quite as thrilling. Keep in mind Kid A is my favorite. :D

..look my good man, I'm a Bends / OK Computer kinda chap.

Likewise. ...but I do love Kid A. I just favor the above mentioned. The newest one is amazing as well. Fuck. I don't know. Now I'm confused. :loco:

The Bends/OK Computer/Kid A/Hail To The Theif = AMAZING

Amnesiac has a few really good tracks but it has absolutely no cohesion at all. Not to mention a few skippers.

These are the only 4 I have, and yes I agree. OMG <3.

Maybe pickup Amnesiac for cheap someday then, thanks.

The Bends is Radiohead's best album overall, easily.
As good as the album is, the material works so much better live. "My Iron Lung" is probably one of their best stage songs.

However, Ok Computer is a great concept album, loosely based on the Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy, and other stuff.
HGthG? I've never heard that. I've just always gone with Thom Yorke's descriptions of the songs, and how he got the ideas to write them, etc.
