Paul just put Rain up on youtube!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the chick. There's the part where she is like lip-syncing the lyrics after Paul sings them, it's almost like a duet in the video editing, heheh.... Very cool vid, quite sharp. ;D

The girl in the video is Melissa from Girls Of Metal (www.girlsofmetal.com), a non-profit organization put together by a bunch of the local metal gals who book benefit shows and do an annual calendar with all profits going towards cancer research in memory of Chuck Schuldiner. Melissa is a very good friend of mine and helped us out by appearing in the video, and was a real sport about it too, being that we doused her with cold water and made her walk around in that skimpy dress in cold February weather!
The guy with the umbrella is her fiance' Phil, another close friend of mine who also plays drums for local band Centaurus and formerly played with Rellik.

Wow, that is really cool and a great backstory. I bet it was cold as shit in February! XD

We filmed it inside some kind of storage facility, so yeah it was pretty cold, especially once we started using the water! Both the videos for "Rain" and "Pale Haunt" were done in extreme cold conditions, and the video for "Autumn Reflection" was done in like 95 degree heat. Someday we'll film a video when it's a nice 65 degrees, LOL.

I like how it takes about 2:30 before there's a shot of Larry not headbanging, and that's only because he's preparing to launch into another headbanging fury after the softer part.

Slemi-slow motion flying hair is Metal!

Isn't Samantha from the first season of ROCK OF LOVE from the Girls of Metal? She always wore the shirt on that show. I loved that show, though I heard Season One was scripted the whole way through.

Yeah unfortunately it always winds up being the winter when these videos need to get done! Oh well, the cold just makes it much more gloomy for us I guess. How kvlt!!! lol

And yes, Jason, Sam was one of the Girls Of Metal. She moved away after the show aired so she doesn't really take part anymore in the GoM activities but they're still friends. It was cool of her to wear the shirt on t.v. Of course now I see things like Century Media and Metal Hammer putting out Girls Of Metal calendars too, heh. Only difference is, they're doing it for the sake of profit, whereas our girls are doing it for charity, so whatever.

Damn, that was quite awesome! Not a lot of unnecessary crap going on, just shots of the band members headbanging and the singer looking evil as hell. Just how it should be haha. The girl was a good touch as well, and that shot with Paul and the girl with the dark wings at the end was great.

You know, most of the time I'm pretty disappointed in metal videos and don't bother watching them because there's so much of previously said ''unnecessary crap'' shots going on. This was just about right. Just like Evergrey's ''A Touch of Blessing'' - when they start headbanging in that video, it's just instantly awesome. I'm going to show this to a bunch of people haha.
