anyone know what kind of snare was used on "ten" or at least on the more rockin' songs like alive and evenflow???


looking to see if i can extract that vibe from slate or just retune a real snare and make samples out of that.

I reckon its a black beauty but its so processed on that record it hard to say.
From what i have hear some of the slate samples would def work, I suppose the hardest thing to recreate would be that early 90s verb on the drum.

The verb is most likely a Yamaha SPX90... Perfect for everything from that to lars ulrich ala Black Album snare verb
