Peavey 6505+ 112 + Pod HD Pro?

Hey guys,
I guess this is a very stupid question, but just wondering. Is there anyway to plug a Pod HD Pro to my Peavey 6505+ 112?

does the combo have an effect return? that'd be the way. make sure you turn any cab sims in your pod off.

Yeah it does, can you explain me how? I mean, I'm a complete newbie to this .

Also, what type of cables am I going to need?

There are 2 ways, if you want to be able to use the preamp from the 6505+ as well as put overdrive,wahs and such in front of the amp and time based FX like delay, reverb in the loop, use this method:


If you just want all you preamps/fx to come from the pod, then you just want to run a cable from unbalanced line out of the pod with the selector switch on amp , to the effects loop return on the back of the amp.

So would that method work if I want to use a Tubescreamer in front of the 6505+, and use it to play rhythms? Then what would I need if I want to use one of my patches on the Pod HD Pro for the lead parts?
