Peavey XXX: Ultra channel won't work

I while ago I had this trouble, crunch and clean works fine, when I turned the switch to ultra channel the amp just stopped sounding. Initially I didn't care for it as I use the crunch channel with the dumper setted up in "mid", but I would like to have all the features in my amp, anyone had a similar situation with it? what is the problem?

Is the volume on 0 on the channel?

You been inside it recently? There was a ribbon cable I didn't plug back in after changing out power tubes one time and I think it caused this same thing on mine.

Never been inside, so It should be a simple unplugged cable?

Preamp tube?

Check preamp tubes. Does it switch to the channel and there is no sound, or will it not switch channels at all?

It switch to the ultra channel and there is no sound

Check tubes. Swap them all around, see if you can find the culprit there. If not, take it to a tech. 99% of problems with tube amps are tube-related.
