Peaveytest 5150+JSX

nothing overly special so far...just reamped something through the JSX that was meant to be krank in the first place...

so this is two tracks of 5150 and two tracks of JSX.....

not perfect yet (I'm still learning to get the best out of the JSX) but I like where it's going so far.

Where is your SM57 typically placed in relation to the dustcap? Just barely touching it? Halfway on/off?

nothing in the mix yet, sorry (next project I'll finish using the JSX will probably be the next Alestorm)....though I might upload a roughmix of my own project earlier....not within the next week though.


wasn't a sm57 only, the m160 has a huge part in that sound....
that's what brings in the smoothness....fucking love it in combi with a 57!

Cool, I've been experimenting with a Cascade Fathead ribbon and am getting nice results.

I'm just curious where you usually place your SM57. It seems that if mine is anymore than a few mm touching thr dustcap, the tone is way too bright/fizzy with a 5150.
