There are some drunken foolishness and pictures of me that are a few years old, too, if you are willing to look.

I got the wagon because it has usuable space, they're a bit cheaper than the sedan, and they look extra stupid so nobody will realize how fast it is.

@Erik: I thought you'd like these better. I will see Nordic Nature one of these days, all the photos I've seen are positively breathtaking.

I need to take more winter photos, but that season is only so long here compared to the 11 month summers.

regardless, the WRX is one sweet car ... i was looking into the sedan myself, but that is all I could do .. look ... becuase I could not fit in it comfortably.

that last pic ... 53 miles of twisties ... would love to tear those up in the Cooper

You know what sucks is that road was closed 5 miles ahead of that sign, d'oh. But those short 5 miles were great!

And yeah, the WRX is pretty cramped. I'm well shoved in the cockpit, but it's snug without being intrusive. I think a lot of people don't realize how big those MINIs are inside, but they really are.

By the way, the latest batch of photos I took were in Angeles Forest as in Los Angeles. Even frickin' LA has forests, surprisingly very vacant compared to the other forests around here.

yeah it looks pretty desolate (and arid ). i think the mountain pics turned out the best, the others of the forest are somewhat bright. how close is it to the city proper btw? close enough that the pollution and smog make the sunsets/rises extra crimson?

Heh, I love those crimson sunsets. Obviously I see a LOT of them.

Where those pictures were taken is about an hour and a half drive to downtown LA, but straight line probably... 50 miles. Let's mapquest it and see how close I am!

Wow, those look nearly identical to some of the higher elevation forests 'round here, very nice. 10pm!? Wow, you that far up north?
