Bought some Maiden vinyls from a guy about a year ago. The guy tossed in a Phantom of the Opera picture disc for free as a thank you for buying some of the other ones. Finally got around to doing something with the disc last week. Ordered up a cheapo clock mechanism and made a Maiden clock:

The spindle on the mechanism was the perfect size and screwed right into the hole on the record. :kickass:

Here's a couple of slideshows of a birthday gift I got last week.

Not sure if you'll be able to see this but here's a panoramic look at the view and massive drop. I was kacking myself standing at the edge to film that!!

I returned to the U.S. on May to watch the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight in Vegas. Afterwards, I traveled to the Grand Canyon to try out my brand new Canon Powershot SX230 HS. On the way, I passed by Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.

It was raining hard that day, but that didn't stop me from taking these pics.

Within a few hours, the sky cleared a bit.

The best view is probably at the Skywalk. Unfortunately, cameras are not allowed there, mainly because the park wants you to buy their photos instead. Still, I had a great time visiting the Grand Canyon.

Oooooh! Jeremy! Those are some waaaaay amazing pics of the Grand Canyon! I've never been yet, but's it's definitely on my things to do before I die list! Beautiful! That walkway looks kinda scary!!

Thanks, Linda. Like I mentioned earlier, the Skywalk is the best place to view the Grand Canyon, as majority of the walkway is made of several layers of glass. I just wish they weren't so strict about bringing outside items, but I guess it's mostly for environmental reasons.

Here's someone's spy video of the Skywalk:

... I've never been yet... Haha, I love how they walk right by the security guy with the spy cam ...

For as long as you've been living here in So. Cal., I'm surprised you haven't been there yet. I've been there but I don't remember any glass walkway. Is that new? I'll have to visit that on my next visit! Hilarious spy cam shot in front of the security guy!!!

Skywalk is fairly new, as it opened in 2007. Also, it ain't cheap. In addition to the cost of the bus tour, it costs around $35 per person to walk the Skywalk, plus $30 to have your picture taken.

Last time I was there was in the early to mid 90's. This is definitely something to look forward to next time I'm there. $35 bucks is pretty pricey tho, ouch!

On a trip to Las Vegas, I visited the 'Pawn Stars' shop, where I saw the Denny Dent painting, New England Patriots ring and the cannon they bought in season 1.
