That had a decent enough PA to mic everything. Except the setup of the stage/PA was awkward given the bar/room it was in.

Anyhow, sound guy was pretty damn cool and had his board linked up to a blue tooth iPad and was walking around mixing all night. Pretty damn cool.

He told me he did sound for the Death "Human" tour. I totally forget his name and I was lurking FB and Google to try and hunt this guy down. If this is true, that's fucking badass. And he was well prepared and probably one of the better sound guys I've ever dealt with.

No one here would happen to know who did sound for Death during that era, would they? :lol: I'd hire this guy in the future if I had to; live mix sounded great!
 
That is a bitch to google because both "Death" and "Human" are such broad terms but the second link for "death human tour soundman" led me to this and there's a name mentioned on the second post. Seems to have been a different tour though but maybe it's still the same guy?
