please help a protools -idiot

I'm new to PT (le on mac), and i've been searching for hors now how to tell PT where the pluginsfolders (rtas) are.
PLease help a retarded PT-noob, ...

you have to have them in the protools plugins folder. it's in apps>digidesign>protools>plugins. I really don't think you can assign it to an already existing plugin folder, so just move them over. Otherwise you really shouldn't have a problem. Unless they already are in the protools directory? In which case I'm talking out of my ass

yea some rtas plugins are just for pc and some just for mac

what plugin you having probles with??

ive had that problem a few times my self.....
