Please help me judge this mix! (Scissors61's stems)

i just discovered the stems, Scissors61 uploaded here a while ago in my downloads folder. i really dig the song, so i thought 'why not try it once more?'

please tell me what you think about the mix, i tried a lot new stuff in this!

edit: nothing done to the drum velocitys yet

The guitars kind of bug me. They're very, very boxy. Cut out some 700-750hz and you should be clear. Drums are very dry and 'superior-drummer-y' but that's just me. The kick tends to pump pretty hard most of the time, too.

I've cut some ~750hz, threw some more verb on the snare and on the toms, and took off some of the lows from the kick
what do you think now?

The newest mix sounds good. It's getting there. I honestly can't stand the way that the vocals sit though. It may just be the dude's voice. Blargh.

do you mean they don't sit volume-Wise or do you mean they don't fit the Mix at all?
