Please Kill Me Now!!!

I hadn't had time to ask this on the religion discussion thread BUT. If youre a atheist, you don't celebrate christmas rite? And if you do youre celebrating for thing that you are "against" ,kinda eh? And that wouldn't make sense. Don't turn this into deeper conv, but I just wanna know this from atheist ppl.
 
Atheists do celebrate christmas...they believe in santa claus XD Nah but most "christians" dont even celebrate christmas for the sake of religion.

I don't really believe in that whole thing so I'm kinda atheistic but I do celebrate it because of the food and the presents :D

There is a house very near to where I live who has put up and turn on their lights already and another house that has put their decorations up. It's fucking idiotic and crazy.

Virtuoosi: I'm an Athiest and I don't like Christmas at all and wonder how everyone can just buy into the holliday when they don't even believe in the reasons behind it.
However at the risk of being hypocritical I do still celebrate it because my family celebrate it there would be a lot of aggro caused if I didn't. I say celebrate. I buy presents for people and eat the dinner.
I do believe that a birthday should be more special than Christmas though.

Youre afraid to show what you believe isn't it? I don't know how my parents think about this thing, but I celebrate it more as the "party" for Christ.
 
No I'm not afraid. They just wouldn't understand and if I didn't celebrate Christmas then my mom may kick me out. That's what she's like.
She plagued me for a whole year after I ruined Christmas once.
 
We get Christmas commercials and songs on the radio and tv here,too.

Yeah, it's annoying. I can't even prepare for thanksgiving turkey before Santa Claus gets shoved down my throat.
 
^My birthday is the 27th of November so there's no chance of it not being taken over by Christmas either.

And anyways, if I didn't like Christmas, the songs on tv/radio wouldn't bother me at all. Because I don't really watch tv/listen to radio:lol::lol:

That's like asking a Christian why they celebrate Christmas because it's essentially a Pagan celebration and they "don't believe in it".

It WAS. That 1 caesar dude changed it to be the celebration thingy for Christ instead of the original celebration thing for sun(?).
 
Well actually every fucking single day of life shoud be a reason to celebrate, since we don't got much of "official" celebration, I enjoyed those we have. Tho,you shouldn'.t be considered retarded if you don't celebrate or follow the rule of a celebration.

I hate that when I MUST buy gift.
