Well actually every fucking single day of life shoud be a reason to celebrate, since we don't got much of "official" celebration, I enjoyed those we have. Tho,you shouldn'.t be considered retarded if you don't celebrate or follow the rule of a celebration.

I hate that when I MUST buy gift.

I see it more as, "fuck, we made it through another year, lets take a few days off to relax." kinda thing.

Atheists shouldn't have any reason to not like christmas there is nothing hypocritical about loving your family and friends and celebrating with them. Christmas is NEVER really about the christian mythology or else there would be no presents involved. There is no historical evidence that a Jesus was born on December 25, nor any evidence that he existed period. Not to stir up any shit spewing here, but tha'ts the matter, The origin is more based in pagan mythologies and feast days. Christmas is all about raging with family and fuckin shit up because it's usually cold and necro outside.

He was born @ the beginning of the year. Not December 25. The December 25 was just the original celebration day for Apollo, or sun if i remember right, by the time when there was Rome, that big emporium(??). Caesar himsef changed that day to be the celebration day for Christ. But they didn't change the way to celebrate, just the thing that theyre celebrating for.
