Stuff selections from my recent playlist:
David Sandström (ex-Refused, doing stuff like Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello)
Anna Ternheim (subdued singer/songwriter)
Mustasch (hard rock, a cross between old Metallica and Dio)
The Psyke Project (chugga-chugga brutality)
Hellacopters (arena rawk)

I also find myself listening to more and more fucked-up/noisy electronic stuff like Alog, Single Unit and Reptiljan. And I'm even getting into some Swedish hip-hop which surprisingly is not sucking like I thought it would.

http://indieworkshop.com/music/1761/ - Major Stars (this is a fantastic put on and zone out album)

http://indieworkshop.com/music/1718/ - COH (avi, if you are into Alog right now, check this out)
http://indieworkshop.com/music/1668/ - Des_Ark (good girl fronted rock duo - dark melodies like Denali but with a much more raw edge)

that should keep you busy for a while. i'll get you more.
oh, and supercilious has two new 3" CD-r's out... just FYI.

If I had money I'd totally license that Psyke Project CD for the US. I've seriously had it in constant rotation ever since I got it like 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I just listened to Coh and it's very nice. The use of basic textural electronics makes this very universally understandable. You can't tell what social background this music has, the aesthetic is therefore a completely digital one. I second it.
