Pod X3 Pro Announced

Yeah, that'd be especially useful for live playing - I really don't want to have to spend $600 on a Podxt Pro just for the convenience of rackmounting when I've already got a kidney bean Podxt that works great

I've never owned anything by Line 6 in my life, but I've been thinking about getting me a Pocket POD just for practicing... mhmm... although getting POD XT and leaving the amp at home for gigs sounds tempting.

the 2.0 is not too bad for messing around in your basement bedroom at your parents house, or for scratch tracks, but with pod xt they attempted to make this a "serious" piece of kit which it is not.
hmmm I keep posting in this thread....but I think you put your finger on my problem....the pod keeps getting more inputs, more complex and more expensive but the sound hasn't improved since the XT launched in 2002.

not trying to discredit the pod for what it is. its just it is not worth the bells and whistles that theyre adding to it. but to each there own

Whoa, now that's pretty cool, at least as far as deals go. But I still really want a new modeling engine...
